Join us at Briones Regional Park for a picturesque 3.2 mile hike through rolling green hills, majestic oak trees, and blooming wildflowers including California poppies and purple lupines. This park is home to an abundance of wildlife, including deer, coyote, grazing cattle, and over 50 species of birds. This hike is gorgeous! Be prepared for some very steep hills early in the hike. The trail is exposed so hats and sunscreen are recommended. Total elevation gain is 623ft.

PARKING
  • We will meet at the Bear Creek Staging Area parking lot at 8:30 am

  • Parking is $5 per vehicle (only when kiosk is attended)

ADDITIONAL INFO
  • Wear hiking shoes or shoes with good traction.
  • Bring lots of water and a snack.
  • There is a bathroom at the trailhead.
  • Dogs are allowed on-leash.
  • If you are interested in carpooling please let us know ahead of time.
