About Hospitality

Purpose

The Hospitality team is the heart of the church, expressing love by inclusivity and making everyone feel welcomed and appreciated. Our goal is to let everyone know that they are seen and through Christ we stand with them. Whether it’s a smile, a hot meal, or a helping hand—Hospitality is how we turn our faith into tangible care.

Ministry Goals

  • Ensure guests feel seen, valued, and cared for

  • Cultivate an environment of warmth, welcome, and belonging

  • Support special events with joyful service and thoughtful details

  • Care for our elders and guests with intentional acts of service


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Help cook, set up, and/or serve food and refreshments during designated Sundays and special events
  • Maintain a clean, welcoming environment in fellowship and dining areas
  • Collaborate with Greeters to extend hospitality from the door to the table
  • Provide care and attention to elderly members and guests (e.g., helping them to seats, offering water, checking in on needs)
  • Assist with birthday, baby, or milestone acknowledgements when requested
  • Provide care and support for members who are experiencing illness, grief, etc
  • Ensure food service areas are cleaned and supplies are restocked after use
  • Create an atmosphere of celebration and comfort at church-wide gatherings
